Windows 10 21H2 Improves On Version 2004:

Proceeding Windows 10 20H2 and Windows 10 version 21H1, the upcoming 21H2 update builds on the foundation laid out in the v2004. This means the last four major versions are consist of the same underlying operating system at their core in addition to the similar group of system files. The rationale behind sharing the same code across multiple releases makes sense considering it saves time when updating devices to this new Windows 10 version 21H2 from any previous version issued after May 2020.

The official public version release process will commence later this year in earnest. Furthermore, Microsoft promises to offer 18 months of support for the Home and Pro edition users and 30 months of servicing for Education and Enterprise editions.

Windows 10 October 2021 Update Insider Builds Release:

Although the Windows maker is hard at work sprucing up the Windows 10 v21H2 for several months, the progress remained shrouded in mystery. Up until now. Microsoft makes known that starting from 15 July 2021, the 21H2 builds will begin rolling out to Windows Insiders, many of whom were shifted to the Release Preview channel from the normal Beta channel due to their devices failing to fulfill Windows 11 hardware requirements.

To clarity, Cable said, “This enables them to instead experience the latest innovations and enhancements in Windows 10.”

The public release of Windows 10 21H2 is slated for the second half of this year, which corresponds with the Windows 11 public release to everyone outside of developer channels.
