- The Battery section in the Settings app includes a toggle switch to enable the “Clean Energy Charging” feature.
- Also embedded in iOS 16.1 is Live Activities API which developers can exploit to test and integrate their own solutions.
- The option to delete or remove the Wallet app from the Home screen.
- iOS 16.1 beta also brings the battery percentage indicator in the status bar to the remaining iPhone models on which it is currently missing. For instance, iPhone 13 mini will get a battery percentage in the upcoming update.

If you’re a member of the Apple Developer Program, go to developer.apple.com to get the IPSW file. Alternatively, you can download the OTA profile file from the same developer portal to flash iOS 16.1 beta 1 as an OTA update by navigating to Settings > General > Software Update menu of the iPhone.
