Available now for free on iOS and Android, The Witcher: Monster Slayer is a brand new game set in The Witcher universe. Developed and published by Spokko, the game challenges players to take on the role of a freshly trained witcher adept and step out into a dark fantasy realm using only their mobile phone. Using advanced AR features and their location and the time of day, players will hunt down over 100 witcher-world monsters, both old and new.

Moreover, a live-action launch trailer announces the beginning of your hunt as the Witcher in the following video clip, below.

Despite the attractive preview illustrated in the trailer, it falls short of clearly presenting the essence of the game as to the way it actually looks while playing. Still, if it piqued your internet, The Witcher: Monster Slayer is now available to download on both the App Store and Google Play Store.

Furthermore, as part of the early promotion, those who log into the game up until 28 July at 11:59 PM CEST, will get the Kaer Marhen steel sword as a reward on both Android and iOS versions. The special sword, when used for successfully killing the monsters, gives 10% additional Experience Points, which is definitely helpful to make quick progress when starting your journey as the Witcher.
