Samsung has released the official list of all Galaxy smartphone and tablet devices that have been selected to receive latest Android 9.0 Pie update. The Experience One UI based on the latest 9.0 Pie firmware is finally coming to all major Samsung Galaxy devices. See below if your device makes the list.
The stock Android 9.0 for flagship Samsung phones is already live. So far in January, the Galaxy Note 9 (SM-960F), Galaxy S9 (SM-G960) and Galaxy S9+ (SM-N960F) have received the official 9.0 Pie update. One UI 9.0 Pie beta channels for the Galaxy S8 and S8+ are open for supported variants with the official update to arrive soon.
Samsung Experience One UI Theme and Experience One Launcher are some of the main exclusive features of the firmware that is available via OTA update on the high-end models of the Galaxy smartphones, including the S8, S8+, S9, S9+ and Note 9. But that’s about to change as the rest of the devices in the Galaxy brand are scheduled to get similiar treatment from the South Korean electronics behemoth.

Non-Flagship Samsung Galaxy Phones to Receive Android Pie Update
If you do not own any of the above-mentioned devices, no need to fret. Samsung is on course to update a plethora of Galaxy handsets to Pie. Like other Android OEMs, Samsung usually takes its time to roll out the latest Android OS update. An official list of devices set to be updated to the Android version 9.0 is here. Names of the devices are accompanied by their respective release dates and firmware version.
Surprisingly, the list has a fairly large number of devices getting the software bump. It features devices ranging from low-budget to mid-range and high-end. So there is something for all market segments.

Samsung Galaxy Beta Program
If your device makes the list above, then wait for the OTA update to be released. That said, there will be a flurry of unofficial firmware builds and ROMs for various models of Galaxy smartphones before Samsung starts pushing the authorized updates on the predetermined dates. Beta update program is open for users of flagship phones. It will allow you to download pre-release versions of the Pie ROMs to test the latest features before the arrival of updates for general public.
