How To Fix Pokemon Masters Not Compatible On Android:
Follow these methods to resolve the Pokemon Masters installation error on Samsung Galaxy, Motorola, Nokia, LG, Oppo, Huawei, Xiaomi and other major Android smartphone models.
Check If Your Device Meets Pokemon Masters Installation Requirements
It goes without saying that app installation hinges on the hardware of the device.
Although the game requires a minimum Android 5.0 firmware to run on mobile, but to be sure that everything goes smoothly follow the installation requirements recommended by the developer.
- We recommend a device with at least 2GB of RAM.
- Android OS 7.0 or higher is recommended.
- Android OS 5.0 or above / 64 bit
The game is built for 64-bit systems. Your version of Android may be 32-bit (most likely on Motorola phones). So verify this before downloading.
Official play store page also has this note:
- We do not guarantee functionality on all devices listed above.
- There may be cases where the app does not function properly due to your device’s capabilities, specifications, or particular conditions for using apps.
- It may take time to become compatible with the latest OS.
So your best bet in this scenario is to wait until developers fix the problem in upcoming Pokemon Masters updates.
Download Pokemon Masters On Android Using A VPN Tool
According to a Reddit post, you can fix the compatibility issue by using a VPN app and settings the server location to a country where the game download is stable.
Here are the steps:
Make sure your Google play account is not bound to any country, if bound, create/use/switch to another secondary account which is not bound to any countries (You can check if your account is bound to a Country’s Play Store if you look at Account section, if it shows a Country name & your name it’s bound to that country’s play store).
Go to your Phone Settings > Application manager > Play Store… force stop it and clear cache.
Use a VPN having Singapore connection > connect (If not, first download a VPN ex ‘Surf VPN’ from play store BEFORE doing step 2.
Open Play Store once (Choose to Accept if any agreement pops up) Close Play Store.
- All done.
Now, click on the Pokemon Masters link below and download:
- Pokemon Masters Play Store | Download
Note: You might still require the same Singapore VPN connection to play, I haven’t played so can’t comment on it. Though Canada VPN connection is working for me. That said, the game under maintenance message appears when you attempt to play the game outside of Singapour.
Game is working perfectly, just continue using the same VPN and select Singapore region once in game > Accept agreements > Accept/Reject Data collection Agreements > Download Additional data > Play.
I used this method to fix Pokemon Masters Device Not Compatible issue on my Android phone.
On a rooted phone, make sure to hide the app in Magisk hide: Magisk > Magisk Hide > VPN (tried on Nokia 5 but working slow).
Download The Pokemon Masters Using APK
If the Play Store says that your device not compatible, download the APK instead from the link below:
This is the better option because the Play Store’s compatibility list never gives out a full list since there are too many models to test. So, they only pit a few modern devices because most people have those kinds of devices. If you want to know if your device is truly compatible, downloading the APK and opening it will test if it’ll play or not.
I have tried this with many games that say they weren’t compatible in the Play Store on my Nexus 6P, and most of them work like a dream.
Use Pokemon Masters Emulator
In case the Apk installation problem persists, you can always follow this Pokemon Masters Emulator tutorial to download Pokemon Masters on PC.
As mentioned earlier, Android 7 is the recommended firmware to run Pokemon Masters. Since most Android Emulators run on firmware older than Android 7.0, try using the Emulator tool that’s been updated to the required operating system.
I suggest you use the Nox Multi-Instance Manager with access to Android 7.1 OS. This should address any setup issues that you may be encountering, though success is not guaranteed.
Nintendo games don’t always work on Android Emulators. However, with Android Emulator for Nintendo Switch, there is a chance that the trick might work the other way around. So why not give it a go?
MEMU Play Emulator claims that Pokemon Masters on PC is working on their tool. Here is the link to download Memu Play.
