Developers of the highly anticipated upcoming lineup of Pokemon games have confirmed the release date of their next-gen titles. Two new properties are Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl and Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Besides their own specific gameplay styles, both feature blockbuster characters, popular heroes, and a familiar setup with unique twists.
While the world eagerly awaits the arrival of the first-ever Pokemon MOBA game called Pokemon Unite, fans of the Pokemon universe get yet another pleasant surprise.

These remakes will offer players a modern take on the purported Nintendo DS exclusives in the series that takes place in the Sinnoh region. A statement issued via the company’s official social media account sets 19 November as the worldwide launch date. For those in the know, the month of November often sees major Pokemon releases, so this announcement shouldn’t come as a surprise.

On the flip side, the rollout date for Pokemon Legends: Arceus throws a bit of a curveball in a good way. The very first open-world Pokemon entry into the series will release on 28 January 2022, which is a lot sooner than most had expected.

The first reveal of two remakes of 2006 Nintendo DS titles illustrated that the gameplay will capture the essence of the original story without compromising on the technical aspects as new mechanics bring the overall playing experience more in line with the latest entries in the series.
Developed by ILCA Inc. and directed by Junichi Masuda (Game Freak) and Yuichi Ueda (ILCA), Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl enable fans to experience the original story and game features in a fresh way. The original games have been faithfully reproduced and colorfully revitalized for Nintendo Switch. The sense of scale of the towns and routes has been carefully preserved, and fans who played the original games will recognize many familiar places. These games are updated with the easy-to-understand, player-friendly conveniences introduced in recent Pokémon core series video games, in addition to up-close-and-personal Pokémon battle scenes.
So, mark your calendar as Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl arrives on Nintendo Switch on November 19th. Whereas, Pokemon Legends: Arceus will release on January 28th, 2022 across all regions on Nintendo Switch and possibly on Nintendo Switch Pro.
