Developer SQUARE ENIX LTD is on a hot streak delivering highly-quality games by porting titles based on already established game properties such as Tomb Raider and others over to mobile platforms. Keeping with the same trend, it has just announced that Just Cause: Mobile is coming to Android and iOS. The launch trailer and early description of gameplay are out. Here are the details.
Just Cause: Mobile is a free-to-play action shooter designed specifically for smartphone and tablet devices.
Now the fans can also play as their favorite characters on the go with a mobile game version titled Just Cause: Mobile.
However, Avalanche Studios (the devs behind the PC and console version of the Just Cause series) will not handle the development work this time around. Square Enix will take over the reins of creative work in order to deliver a fully optimized playing experience on smaller devices.
According to an early look, the game will feature some of the recognizable names in the upcoming title. The global audience will get their preferred heroes on mobile later this year.

And now Square Enix has shared more information about the mobile version of the Just Cause game.
Just Cause: MobileĀ delivers the explosive action of theĀ JustĀ Cause universe to your fingertips in action-packed, single-player and multiplayer experiences that offer on-the-go grappling, gliding, and shooting, all presented through exhilarating top-down gameplay. Featuring in-game cutscenes and fully voiced characters, players can customize their agent and join the ranks of Firebrand, a special division within the covert organization, āThe Agency.ā The mission: stop a new mercenary group under the name of Darkwater. Darkwater is a group made up of ex-Black Hand military forces from overseas that are now a major threat to The Agency across the globe. As a new recruit of Firebrand, day one starts off with a major attack on the base ā one that the player narrowly escapes alive. Firebrand leader Carmen PadrĆ³n gives you the order to further investigate the mercenary group Darkwater and track down allies to assist you on your mission, including her former agency partner Rico Rodriguez.
Gamers can expect familiar aspects of the series, such as the grappling hook, coming over the mobile iteration. Moreover, it is likely that the 4-player co-op missions and 30-person competitive multiplayer mode will form part of the overall package that is built on Unreal Engine 4 with touch controls support.
As for the characters, Teo, Rico Rodriguez, and Annika from Just Cause 3 will join other heroes specially designed for the mobile version.
Furthermore, Just Cause: Mobile action campaigns will unfold across three open-world locations scattered around the globe.
