Latest Apple iPhone models come with 3D Touch technology that allows users to press deeply on touchscreen display to launch actions without opening apps. You can use this feature for apps that support 3D Touch on your iPhone. It basically provides a shortcut to certain functions within the app. Simply hard-pressing on an app’s icon pops up an options menu providing access to main app features without having to open it. With 3D Touch, you can press deeply to go directly to a certain place within the app, this saves time by cutting extra taps on the screen. You can use it to reply to notifications, switch keyboards, animate live photos, preview messages and links, and more.

The 3D Touch works to enhance the usability of both stock and third-party application in iOS. Multiple levels of pressure on your device’s display is designed to trigger a 3D Touch response. While owners of newer iPhone devices get this feature builtin on their phones but the users of older phones can get similar touch-screen functions using jailbreak tweaks on devices running iOS 8 and iOS 9 or later. Make sure your device is jailbroken on iOS 8/9/10/11 or later to use this 3D Touch tweak.
