Snapchat released a new feature a while ago that allows users to add photo to snapcode. You can do without the image but that leaves your snapcode blank with nothing in the center, which looks unattractive and could drive new followers away from your profile. But a recent Snapchat update has brought some much needed changes to that. If you create a bitmoji avatar for your Snapchat profile, it’s automatically added to your snapcode if you haven’t set a profile image. You can also makes changes to bitmoji moods in Snapchat.

Edit Bitmoji Moods in Snapchat
Before doing anything else, make sure to create a bitmoji avatar for your Snapchat account. Launch Snapchat and tap the bitmoji at the top left. Now, on your profile screen, tap ‘Edit Bitmoji’ at the top left of your profile page. This will open the Bitmoji screen. Here, tap ‘Change my Bitmoji selfie’.
Next, on the following screen, select the mood you want to set for your bitmoji and tap ‘Done’ button at the bottom. Your Bitmoji will update and show in your profile.

If you can’t access this feature, this means you’re using an older version of the app so make sure to update Snapchat to the latest version to get it. Also, remove your own picture from your snapcode prior to adding your bitmoji avatar to it.
Removing Profile Picture from Snapchat
Open Snapchat, Tap the bitmoji icon at the top left of the home screen. This will take you to your profile screen. Tap your snapcode. On your snapcode screen, tap the reverse arrow button on the right of the capture button. Snapchat will confirm if you want to remove your profile picture. Tap ‘Remove’ and it’s done. Snapchat will then add your bitmoji avatar to the snapcode, if you’ve already created one.
This feature should be available to everyone using the latest official Snapchat app. So update the app, and of course that you have a bitmoji avatar configured and connected to your snapchat account.
