Windows 10 allows users to choose which apps to trust and run on the system. Windows Firewall blocks all apps designated by the user from running on PC. Sometimes the firewall blocks even the trusted apps from accessing the internet. However, on Windows 10, you can easily make a few changes in the settings to allow apps through the firewall. Here’s how to go about it.
Windows 10 has beefed up security features that shield your device from hacker attacks, viruses, malware, and other potentially harmful programs. To protect the data saved on a Windows 10 running device, a built-in firewall with improved capabilities has been added by Microsoft.
Although the firewall does a good job managing which applications and features are allowed to communicate through the network, sometimes you may have to allow or deny an app manually.
In the following guide, learn the steps to allow or deny apps access through the Windows 10 firewall.
