Set a Custom Background Image for New Tab on Chrome
Here is how you can customize Chrome’s new tab page with a background image by following the steps below:
- Open a new tab on Chrome.
- Click the settings (gear) button in the bottom-right corner of the page.
- Select the Chrome backgrounds option.
Note: If you want to use one of your pictures, then click the Upload an image option.
- Next, select one of the categories.
- Choose your favorite image.
- Click the Done button.
Once the above steps are complete, you will see a new background image each time you open a new tab in Chrome. If you want to remove the picture, apple the same steps above, but on step no. 3, select the Restore default background option in instead of Chrome backgrounds.
