Yet another Genshin Impact update brings new characters and additions to the storyline. This time, the creators of Honkai Impact and the upcoming Honkai: Star Rail, HoYoverse, have announced details about Version 3.5 dubbed “Windblume’s Breath”. In the new version of Genshin Impact RPG, players from all over the world will join to celebrate the Windblume Festival in addition to a new adventurous journey into the Abyss Order.
If you’re a regular Genshin Impact player, you would be familiar with the Windblume Festival which is making its return with more rewards, challenges, and reunions for participants to share love and spread freedom. At this event, there are several mini-games such as a photo-touring mode, a maze chase game, and a rhythm game. These are limited-time events.
And as usual, the new update adds two characters possessing different combat abilities to an already sprawling roaster. One of the new entrants is Eremite Dehya, with the capability of wielding the power of Mika and Pyro, a cartographer who unleashes Cryo in battles. Cyno will rerun during the first half of the Event Wishes in Version 3.5 update. The second half will see Mika making debut along with Shenhe and Kamisayo’s rerun. And after the end of Version 3.6, Dehya will join the rest of Standard Wish pool.
As you can see in Version 3.5 trailer above, gamers will get to know more about new characters, explore old companion relationships, and, roam across the Sumeru region.
Moreover, Faruzan’s Hangout event and Dehya’s Story Quest will unveil the background-origin stories of the two respective characters. In the meanwhile, the Traveler will join forces with Kaeya and Dainsleif to discover past knowledge of their lost sibling coupled with details about the Abyss Order.
To enhance the entertainment level in Version 3.5, the team behind Genshin Impact is joining hands with Amazon to introduce a special reward for players with an active Amazon Prime Gaming subscription. Between December 2022 and May 2023, Amazon Prime members are eligible for a code that unlocks various in-game item bundles every three weeks.
Anyone claiming four or more of these reward bundle refreshes will receive the Wings of the Starlit Feast, which will be deposited to its in-box at the start of June. But do note that this reward applies only to one set of wings per account.
Genshin Impact is currently out on Android, iOS, PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
