Genshin Impact Version 3.0 Officially Announced! Learn More Here

Genshin Impact version 3.0 announcement confirms all the new features, heroes, regions, and much more. So let’s dig into the details.

Developer HoYoverse, previously known as miHoYo, regularly pushes new updates of its popular role-playing game across all available platforms. Last month, update 2.8 brought a new event, a lineup of new characters, weapons, and quests along with other additions on mobile, PlayStation, and PC platforms. And now Update 3.0 is just around the corner. See a brand new trailer below for a glimpse of upcoming attractions in your favorite RPG.

First, let me provide you with some information about the release date. If the rollout proceeds without hiccups, Genshin Impact 3.0, called “The Morn A Thousand Roses Brings,” will be available on 25 August 2022. Expect plenty of fresh content, as shown in the video below.

Of course, the main highlight of the Genshin Impact 3.0 Update is the new Sumeru region along with its exclusive quests, events, characters, and more.

Moreover, the update brings a new element into the mix of game combat. Known as Dendro, it characterizes the game’s seventh damage element. With each new update, more playable characters will join the existing roaster.

The first two new entrants include Collei and Tighnari (a four and five-star unit, respectively). You can also obtain Collei through the Graven Innocence event that is coming soon. In addition to them, keep an eye on the upcoming banner for a new Electro-based unit named Dori.

Speaking of banners, the August 2022 update will introduce new banners for players to collect the newest characters as and when they make their debut in Genshin Impact. One of them is a five-star character Zhongli that will return via one of these banners, this is your chance to collect him if you had missed the opportunity the first time around. Other characters making their return in the upcoming banners include Kokomi and Ganyu.

Also, note that the update schedule is going through some changes. After the 3.0 update drops on August 25th, mark September 28th, November 2nd, and December 7th on your calendar as release dates for updates 3.1, 3.2, and 3.3 respectively. As usual, we will continue to post more information on Genshin Impact updates as soon as they release.

Currently, Genshin Impact is out on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Android, iOS, and PC devices.
