Genshin Impact mania shows no sign of abating anytime soon if we’re to take the list of most tweeted games as a popularity yardstick for this year. Despite myriad controversies surrounding the social media platform, Twitter retains its status as the core where enthusiasts toss volleys of views about various gaming topics. Many heated discussions related to hot games originate on the microblogging website. Over the years, many gaming communities have sprouted with Twitter activity at their epicenter. And today, Twitter shared some information regarding gaming discussion on the platform in the first half of 2022. According to the latest stats, users have posted over 1.5 billion tweets targeting a variety of games available on different platforms.
But somewhat unsurprisingly, the title of the most-discussed game on Twitter goes to none other than Genshin Impact RPG, similar to 2021. Genshin Impact even managed to see off Wordle, which is a staggering feat in itself, especially considering on occasions it appeared almost everyone on Twitter was sharing their Wordle scores. Other notable titles making the top 10 list include Apex Legends, The Legend of Zelda, Elden Ring, Final Fantasy, and Valorant.
