With the Genshin Impact 3.6 release out of the way (here is more information about content and characters), so now it’s time to look forward to leaks divulging more details about the next version 3.7 scheduled to arrive next month. As we have reported recently, update 3.7 of the Genshin Impact RPG will introduce the new character Kirara with 4-star capabilties. We already know that Kirara is based on a cat theme along with an Elemental Skill composed of “climbing freedom”. But nothing more than that. Until now!
Well, a new leak showcases the gameplay with Kirara in action. And it looks like she has all the ingredients to be counted among the most special characters that have unique abilities in the game. According to the leaked footage shared below, Kirara has Elemental Skills that transform her into a bizarre cat box, i.e., in the form of a cat in a box. When transformed, she can move across and clump up cliffs using her quick maneuverability and inflict damage on enemies by bumping into them. Here’s Kirara in action, below.

And now let’s recap Kirara’s moves:
- Elemental Burst: Push a box that unleashes multiple small cat bombs that inflict Dendro damage to enemies.
- Elemental Skill (Hold): To enter her “Urgent Neks Percel”. Faster movement and climbs while reducing stamina loss. Bump into enemies to deal damage. Duration about 10 seconds.
- Elemental Skill (Press): To flip kick for Dendro damage and activates a shield lasting 12 seconds.
As to whether the overall utility of Kirara is worth choosing, remains to be seen. I suspect players are going to spend money in unlocking her elements, costumes, and banner.
Additionally, a reliable leaker Genshin Intel predicts ver. 3.7 to bring a new of version of the Legend of the Vagabond Sword event, the intro of a new character “Charlotte”, likely to be playable in future updates, as well as expansion of the Genius Invokation TCG.
Genshin Impact is out on PC, PS5, PS4, and mobile platforms. Version 3.6 is available now and version 3.7 should arrive in May.
