Just days after the release of version 3.1 of Genshin Impact, which unveiled a new desert region and characters Cyno, Candance, and Nilou, we now have more information about the upcoming update 3.2 of the popular role-playing game from HoYoverse. According to the latest leaks, the developer plans to introduce two new characters in version 3.2, which includes the Cryo user Layla and the Dedro user Nahida. And with that, a cabal of leakers have gone into overdrive to unearth informative bits from the available information.

This brings us to a seasoned Genshin Impact leaker UBatcha with a credible track record, who claims Nahida possesses magical Dendro catalysts. When activated, her Elemental Skill enables players to pin down enemies and infiltrate their defenses. Moreover, her Elemental Burst seemingly extends across a large area while granting buffs to Electro, Hydro, and Pyro teammates. Apparently, she combines support skills and DPS in one character.

In terms of character traits, Nahida appears like the vessel of Lesser Lord Kusanali, the present Dendro Archon (the god of the corresponding region and the associated element). It seems Nahida/Kusanali is going to replace the previous Dendro Archon Greater Lord Rukkhadevata, who died 500 years ago in the wake of a catastrophic event. That said, many fan theories speculate Nahida/Kusanali represents a watered-down iteration of Rukkhadevata with reduced powers. But at this point, they remain speculations, of course.

Now let’s talk about Layla, capable of wielding swords and inflicting Cyro damage. Her Elemental Skill pertains to summoning some sort of shield. Whereas her Elemental Burst expands over a large ground where she can dish out Cryo damage.

However, there is not much known about Layla’s personality traits. But UBatcha proclaims her defining move is remaining in a state of sleepiness.

There is also not much clarity regarding star rating of new characters in v3.2, but expect Layla to be a 4-star and Nahida a 5-star hero.

When it comes to the overall storyline of Geshin Impact version 3.2, some details have emerged thanks to an insider VTNa leak. In brief, the player may find themselves end up in jail for some reason, and once inside the lockup, they partner with Nahida to fight the Fatui Harbinger Dottore.
