Microsoft has rolled out the Windows 10 October 2018 update (version 1809) for public. Here is how to get the official Update Assistant to install the latest version of Windows 10 on PC and Laptop.
The Windows 10 version 1809 is being pushed gradually, but if your device isn’t getting the new update through Windows Update, you can perform force install of the new version using the Update Assistant tool.
The Windows 10 Update Assistant is an official tool from Microsoft for devices that for some unknown reason are not getting the new update. This tool works similar to the Media Creation Tool, but with the difference that you can only do an in-place upgrade.
