Apple TV App With Google Chromecast Support Confirmed

Apple TV application featuring the official Apple TV+ streaming service together with the whole entertainment content package from the Cupertino tech giant is arriving this time with full support for Googe Chromecasts in the early part of next year.

Google has confirmed the launch of the Apple TV app for Chromecast.

Previously, compatible with Chromecasts only on Google TV, users who own Android TV will also be able to get the app for use at some point in the near future.

The main features of the app not only include the original Apple TV+ shows and movies, but it will also offer to watch TV content provided it is bought or rented via the iTunes store.

Moreover, the app will also bundle in the Apple channels, providing users an extra option to watch content produced by third parties.

As an Apple TV+ subscriber, you can tune into award-winning original shows, movies and documentaries from the world’s most creative storytellers. This includes titles like “Ted Lasso,” “The Morning Show,” “Defending Jacob,” “Greyhound” and “Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special.”

The arrival of the Apple TV app, and with it Apple TV+, means that all major streaming services are now available via the Chromecast.

This deal marks a significant move forward in the right direction in that it could end up becoming the primary source of accessing entertainment content through a portable streaming device for people who want to watch anything they like anywhere, as long as they have an HDMI input cable on them.

Apple TV Plus is available as a standalone online streaming service based on a subscription model consisting of monthly and yearly packages. Furthermore, it is also part of the Apple One bundle with discounted prices.
