Google lifted the wraps on its latest Android P mobile firmware at the Google I/O conference held in March. The operating system is in beta phase right now. Android P Developer Preview Beta Program is designed for developers using Google’s Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones to test the new features. Android P Beta is available to download on compatible devices via factory images and OTA links. The successor to the current Android 8.1 Oreo firmware is set to embrace modern changes in smartphone technology, such as an interface redesign to accommodate the notch, near bezel-less display, iPhone X like navigation features and gestures, and much more. We have shared download links of Factory Images and OTA Files to install Android P Developer Preview 2 latest beta version on your Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL phone.
Android P Beta For Pixel 2 And Pixel 2 XL
Since the platform is still in its infancy, this update can’t be made available for public just yet as it requires considerable work to weed out bugs, performance issues and stabilize new features. However, Android users have options to get their hands on the new mobile firmware by manually flashing it via a custom ROM, and now by installing it through OTA firmware files and factory images.
If you cannot wait to try all the new features of the world’s most popular mobile operating system on Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL, you can install it via the flashable files given in the links below and brag about it to your friends. Google has made it easy for anyone interested in its firmware to register with the developer program. Authorized users can then receive beta updates with new features of the upcoming firmware before others.

The developer preview 2 beta update is rolling out for only Google branded devices such as Pixel, Pixel XL , Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. Those who have manually flashed the Developer Preview 1 won’t get an OTA update, and will have to install DP 2 manually.
Android P DP 2 Beta Update Factory Images & OTA For Pixel 2 / Pixel 2 XL
Many new changes are part of the current Android P DP 2 beta update for Google Pixel smartphones. It is available to download free on selected phone models. The update release is accompanied by the usual OTA and factory image files to clean install the firmware manually instead of getting this update over-the-air via Android Beta Program. Manual installation helps prevent issues related to the OTA update method.
Google has set a five stage release plan for Android P. Developer Preview 2 is the second step in that direction. It brings mostly incremental changes rather than a radical overhaul of Android. But this beta 2 update does have a few interesting features up its sleeves. Perhaps the biggest thing to look forward to is a new gesture-based navigation system similar to the one on iPhone X. Besides, there are noticeable changes to the notifications, as well as an ability to open or access parts of apps via search without having to actually open them.
The OTA factory images files are now available for download on Google’s phones. So if you are an owner of Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL handset, download factory images and OTA files for your device model from the links below. Otherwise, you can also get this OTA beta update delivered straight to your device registered with Android Beta Program.
